Change in lifestyle of type 2 diabetes patients – Use of activity sensors and feedback on nutrition and activity

Caused by unhealthy lifestyle, with bad diet and lack of physical activity, diseases of affluence like diabetes type II almost spread pandemically.

By losing weight, health status can be improved significantly. To sustain weight reduction, a change in lifestyle is needed, which can be achieved by the newly devised ABC-program, developed by Prof. Claus Luley at the University Clinic of Magdeburg.

The ABC-program focuses on measuring physical activity via activity sensors, a diet combination and charge.
