ECG in telemedicine - monitoring cardial efficiency
Various ECG’s are available for the use with the Aipermon System, offered by companies Getemed and Schiller.
The ECG devices are employed, among others, as a 3-channel-measuring device for telediagnostic evaluation of current cardial efficiency of cardiac insufficiency patients. Furthermore, saturation of peripheral oxygen can be calculated.
ECG for telemonitoring - functionality and use
Data transfer
To transfer measured data to access stations, a Bluetooth-module able to transfer data in encoded form, optimized to ensure reliability and minimal power usage, has been developed. Also, other measuring devices from other producers can be included via the open-platform-structure.
Application examples
ECG measuring devices are used, among others, at the ‘Partnership for the Heart’ study.
